    Re-Amplifying SKYY Vodka’s Audacious Spirit

    “We’ve lost the iconic attitude and glamour of the brand. How do we get back to our audacious roots without just repeating what we did in the 90s?”

    Born from a visionary spirit and bold San Francisco attitude, SKYY Vodka was once a trailblazer in the category, instantly recognisable for its striking blue bottle and provocative energy. But after a shift in focus toward natural provenance and functional product messaging, the brand’s image became fragmented and lost its edge. To reclaim its place as the most forward-thinking vodka, SKYY needed a radical reset, a new story and a bold new visual world to match.

    We built a new global visual identity around one defining idea: Audacious Glamour. This creative concept pays homage to SKYY’s signature confidence, vivid swagger and refined sophistication. We reimagined the brand’s core assets through the lens of San Francisco’s bold spirit, creating a visual system that feels both fresh and unmistakably SKYY.

    The iconic blue bottle is front and centre, its striking verticality driving the proportions of a dynamic new framing device. A simplified colour palette sharpens the focus on a fresher SKYY blue, while the custom SKYY Mono typeface reflects the brand’s technical precision and strength.

    To add richness and flexibility, we designed a new bottle icon inspired by the glass facets, supported by a refined set of illustrated icons to bring cocktail serves to life with elegance. A new style of photography brings it all together, elevated, everyday moments captured with fresh perspective and West Coast confidence.

    With SKYY Infusions, we took the VBI to an extra juicy level of audacity and carefree sophistication. The framing facets and patterns are bolder for a more confident, liberated look, and flooded with a flavour-forward colour palette to celebrate every product’s juicy attitude. While the photography style combines macro shots and luscious liquid highlights to create a refreshingly premium feel.
