The Strategy Director role at Thirst plays a pivotal part in driving strategic excellence and client growth within the business; leading hub client relationships, collaborating across departments, coaching junior talent and raising our reputation externally.
We are looking for someone to fill a fixed-term contract for 14 months from May 2025.

Ownership of strategic excellence across a portfolio of top tier clients: Orchestrating and overseeing the strategy team’s delivery across clients.
Strong multidisciplinary strategist, enabling team to reach creative, commercial and strategic breakthroughs: Leading by example, practicing strong, simple and shit hot strategy while pushing our thinking into new spaces and channels to work towards 360 vision.
Serves as knowledge source by staying at the cutting edge of consumer, category and culture: Drawing from a broad knowledge of categories, brand challenges and best in class case studies to inspire fresh insights and shape new ways of thinking.
Cuts to the heart of complex commercial client challenges, spotting the opportunities within.
Empowers client teams to deliver exceptional brand strategy across the full spectrum of Thirst’s strategic offering including: brand ideas, innovation, diagnostics, campaign and messaging, collaborating with other expert strategists to fill in knowledge gaps.
Shapes and builds Thirst’s strategic tools and contributes to overall development of the suite.
Facilitates and moderates workshops with senior stakeholders
Drives successful New Business ventures through pitch work and proactive provocations to unlock new opportunities.

Delivering client growth within a portfolio of top-tier clients: Collaborating with your hub’s client and creative leads to unlock and deliver sustained new growth opportunities.
Build, lead and grow strong senior client relationships: Become a trusted and respected partner through a deep understanding of their vision, business and challenges, spotting opportunities within.
Works collaboratively to drive and strengthen client development plans
Enhances Client Leadership proposals and helps team define strategic scopes of work, managing resources efficiently to maximise value to the business and our clients
