Opening the doors to Thornbridge Hall

Thornbridge was a beacon of British brewing, but were struggling to navigate their ‘recent’ heritage amongst the plethora of wild, young craft breweries. Putting their world famous products into cans was an opportunity to rejuvenate and redefine the brand, reaching out to new audiences while also maintaining their loyal following.
Following a full immersion with the board and a supermarket safari, we knew what we had to do to restore this beacon of British brewing; we needed to go back to where it all started and open the doors to Thornbridge Hall.
While walking the grounds and corridors of the Hall, we found inspiration in the decorative detail of the main fire’s mantelpiece and converted this into a premium pattern. By merging Thornbridge’s classic monogram and bold colour palettes with this new bespoke pattern, we created a strong brand family.

We are a Brewery that has been based on innovation over the years, however, when the concepts were delivered by Thirst I was reminded of a quote by Coco Chanel 'One cannot be forever innovating. I want to create classics' – I truly believe that we now have modern classics in beer can design.”

These strong brand assets extend effortlessly across every touchpoint from bottle to bar, can to secondary case.
And the result? The cans were sold out before they were even produced thanks to Tesco buying the lot. A year on, Thornbridge has had their most successful year to date, Jaipur can is the best selling SKU and they have had to increase production by 20% to meet demand.
