The Midweight Strategist role at Thirst plays a pivotal part in strengthening our strategic offering. This person will influence the creation of excellent creative work, support the strategy team in delivering complex client briefs and be nurtured by the best talent in the business to hone their strategic skillset and own strategic client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
Defines the brand challenge & opportunity in a concise and inspiring way, grounded in insight.
Creates sound strategic solutions, proactively collaborating with their team and across departments to build their skillset across multiple strategic disciplines.
Understands and implements strategic tools in response to client and brand needs.
Develops, facilitates and moderates workshops with clients.
Communication
Acts as a clear voice of strategy in briefings and meetings both internally and externally.
Adapts communication style to suit different situations and audiences.
Writes persuasively and creatively and uses visuals impactfully in presentations.
Contributes to Thirst’s strategic thought-leadership and marketing.
Serves as a knowledge resource within the team and with clients, sharing cutting-edge ideas and design inspiration.
Client Role
Actively listens and questions client needs and challenges in order to understand the true brief at hand.
Builds trusted client relationships.
Collaborates across departments to shape client development plans and opportunities to add value.
Contributes to proposal development and defining strategic scopes of work.
Creative Role
Writes briefs that inspire and challenge creative teams to create strong, simple, shit hot work.
Builds knowledge of best-in-class case studies which can help provoke and shape creative thinking.
Collaborates to ensure creative and strategic thinking are seamlessly interwoven.
Evaluates creative concepts against the brief and provides clear feedback to keep the work and the strategy aligned.
Actively seeks ways and channels to push the creative work further.
Leadership
Leads delivery and growth of Tier 3 clients and work streams within hubs.
Collaborate across departments, working closely with the Client Leadership and Creative teams to find the best solutions.
