The driving force behind Thirst’s growth, culture and vision, Chris’s love of the drinks industry started when he was Marketing, Sales and Export Manager of a leading Scottish craft brewery. He knows what it’s like to be ‘the client’, so works to ensure every design is commercially right.
Matt Burns, Creative Director
Matt has set the creative vision for Thirst from day one when he decided to combine his passions for design and drinks to set up a specialist agency with Chris. With over a decade in the design industry, Matt's dedication to building creatively rare, commercially right brands has shone through in his award-winning work for Fullers, Commonwealth Brewing Company and Wild Island Gin.
Claire Barrett, Strategy Director
Claire has over ten years experience building brands across the globe, working on everything from global rebrands for Coca-Cola to repositionings for Carlsberg. Determining the strategic direction for every project, Claire’s forté is carving out commercial spaces and compelling stories for brands using consumer insight, category intelligence and brand truth.

Honing his skills across seven years of agency and client side experience, Craig is our man on the ground spreading the word about Thirst. A born entrepreneur, he loves FMCG brands so much he even started and ran one himself before joining Thirst.

Eamonn Cameron, Senior Designer
Looking near, far and wide for inspiration, it’s Eamon’s experimental approach that helps to keep Thirst’s work creatively rare. Previously running his own independent practice, Eamon specialises in creating clever, cohesive brand identities and systems, but he also loves to hand craft the finer details, whether that's illustrating a brand icon or wax-dipping a bottle top.
Kris Wilson, Senior Designer
The brains behind one of Scotland's leading gin brands, Kris joined Thirst in 2018 with over six years experience and a powerful portfolio under his arm. With a love of delightful discoverables, a tendency to dig into archives for inspiration and a keen eye for the perfect finish, Kris’s versatile talents are tailor made for for the drinks industry.
Rachel Porter, Mid Level Designer
Earning her stripes as a Junior designer at Thirst, it was Rachel's eclectic ideas and keen eye for hand crafted techniques that originally got her in team Thirst, but it’s been her ability to adapt and bring to life any brief that's seen her quickly climb up the ladder. Spanning the full drinks category, Rachel has designed everything from soft drinks and beer to gin and whisky.
Martin Duff, Junior Designer
Coming out top of the class in one of the most prestigious Graphic Design courses in the UK, Martin is a rising star in the design world. He joins Thirst with an enviable portfolio, a restless creativity and a mind full of fresh ideas. Yet another exciting dimension for our diverse creative team.
